The Beauty Scenario Tag

I have never done a tag before but I thought I would give it a go! This tag is pretty self explanatory, all of the questions are just 'what if' scenario situations, so lets get right into it!

The Questions:
1. You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?
I do not own to much foundation but if I had to only use one high end foundation it would be the Makeup Forever HD foundation. I always wear this when I know I am going to be photographed but also even if I am not. Not only does it show up on camera beautifully, it also make my skin look flawless in person but it still has that 'your skin' looking effect. It just smoothes everything out plus the shade is a perfect match for me! As far as low end foundation I would have to pick the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation. I have a review on this but essentially it has good coverage but also is lightweight. What's not t love?

2. You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
I would ignore it! I feel like you only have one opportunity to tell her she has lipstick on her teeth and that would be when your first see it. I personally would not be that bold especially if I was interviewing for position in her company! So as awkward as it may be I would leave well enough alone...maybe she wanted lipstick on her teeth?  You never know!

3. You're not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?
The lipstick I would reach for is bold red. I love the color red, and a bold red lip just makes me feel powerful, confident and beautiful about myself. My favorite one is NARS Fire Down Below. Where do they come up with these name? Anyway, François Nars spent a year developing this shade to be the perfect red with not orange or blue tint. It truly is blood red and I just love it!

4. You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?
I wasn't really allowed to wear to much makeup when I was a teenager but I would tell myself less is more. I was on my high schools dance team and for football games and competitions we had to wear a lot of make up so I got used to doing that. Even on the days when I would wear makeup, I went over board on the eyeliner and eyeshadow. Less is always more and now I still can have a heavy hand with makeup but only for special occasions.

5. You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixi cut. Do you a) Smile, say thank you, leave and call your mum hysterical b) Cry in the chair and things get awkward or c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund.
Probably a combination of A an B. I have had a haircuts before when I wasn't happy with it, left the salon and then called my mom to complain but sometimes I will just say something. You are paying for a service and 9 times out of 10 the hairdresser wants you to leave her chair feeling beautiful so if you just kindly tell them you had something else in mind I am sure they could fix it so you were happy with the final outcome!

6. Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which 'do it all' palette do you pack in your makeup bag?
I would have to say the Too Faced Natural Eye palette. Although the new edition of the palette is slightly different than my version I would still use this. It has all you would need to create multiple looks. A pretty shimmery day time look with brown liner smudged in the water line or a brown smokey eye. The possibilities are endless and the pigmentation is wonderful as well as the all the shades are very creamy and easy to blend.

7. Your house has been robbed, don't worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?
I would have to say this old eyeshadow paint that was made by a brand that I cannot remember but it was the first piece of makeup I owned. When I turned 13, my mom let my older cousin take me to buy makeup in a department store and I was so excited! I had always loved makeup but this was my first time getting to own makeup and play with it, so even though it is old and probably no longer good I would never want to get rid of it because that was the beginning of me being forever obsessed with makeup.

8. Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) Just pretend you haven't noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs
I am not sure how to answer this cause I rarely loan out my makeup. Firstly because its not really hygienic to do this but also because I rarely am the same shade as my friends. I will let them swatch something if I own it and they don't or use it one time to see how something wears. But if for some reason the did return it back to me in a bad condition I probably wouldn't say anything just because its just makeup. It can easily be replaced if it is that bad a condition. I would rather not bring it up and cause drama in a relationship than ask them to repurchase it and of course I would never do something to their makeup because they put that on their face and I wouldn't want them to break out or anything! So definitely A!

Well I hope you enjoyed this and learned more about me, beauty wise that is!
Any tag recommendations for next time?

Cheers!
